4 days Four days in Marrakech

Overview
Get the most out of Marrakech with this highlight-stuffed four-day adventure. Embark on a multi-day food experience that starts with you finding ingredients at the medina, before trying your hand at making Tanjia, a tasty slow cooked food in an earthen jar. Hold on! the food doesn’t stop there. Next, you’ll sample bread from a local bakery and then take a full-day trip to Ouzoud river and waterfall to cool off from the heat and enjoy lunch. And if you’re hungry for more adventure, you can combine this trip with one that visits the Sahara Desert or the country’s coast for the total Morocco experience.

Itinerary

Day 1: Day in Marrakech

Marhaba in Morocco! Your adventure begins today with and included transfer, after checking your hotel, your tour guide will brief you in the lobby, then attend a cooking demonstration and learn how to make Merrakchi Tanjia, a different form of Tagine. We’ll make the dish and seal it in the clay pot to cook overnight in the hamman. Then, explore the various food vendors in the Medina with your leader and learn about the different ingredients. End the day with evening tea on the rooftop terrace overlooking the main square of Jemaa El Fnaa.

It’s very important that you attend the welcome meeting (Around 3 pm) as we will be collecting Passport number, insurance details and next of kin information at this time. If you are going to be late, please let your travel agent or guide know. Some travelers have reported being approached by locals offering excursions before their trip commences. Day 2: Marrakech

After breakfast, start a guided visit with a local guide and explore the important sites within the medina this morning. Make stops to Jardin Secret and Bahia Palace. End the morning adventure with a trip to the bakery to learn how Moroccan bread is made and have a taste.
Then collect your Tanjia lunch on the way back to the Riad. Enjoy your own cooking as lunch on the terrace. The afternoon and evening are free for you to explore Marrakech on your own. Don’t miss a chance to visit Jardins Majorelle with their vibrant blue garden houses and thriving plants.

Day 3: Marrakech – Ouzoud waterfalls

Set out on a full day excursion to Ouzoud, a beautiful oasis waterfall near the Atlas Mountains. Hike to the top of the falls, enjoy breathtaking views, and then take a refreshing swim in the flowing water. After a delicious lunch right near the falls the group will travel back to Marrakech. Enjoy a local dinner in the heart of Jamee Lafna Square.

Day 4: Marrakech

There are no activities planned this day. It’s worth adding a night or two in Marrakech, perhaps, if you wish to spend more time, we’ll be happy to book you an extension of tree days trip in a beautiful coastal city – Essaouira or any –Optional activity (check optional activities section).
